The “Mandala of Little Spaces” is a geometric exploration of the concept of space. It presents a world built from interconnected smaller spaces, a theme visually represented through a mandala structure. The artwork features gates rendered in blue lines, which are intentionally asymmetrical and closed, suggesting a personal, introspective journey.
The core of the painting is a fractal pattern of triangles, demonstrating how the division of a single space into equal, smaller parts can create an infinitely repeating, complex design.
“My work, “Mandala of Little Spaces,” is a meditation on the nature of space. I sought to represent the cosmic idea that our world is composed of countless individual spaces. The closed, slightly asymmetrical blue gates of the mandala symbolize a personal, internal understanding of this concept. By repeatedly dividing triangles, I created fractals, a visual metaphor for the infinite nature of space and the idea that even the smallest parts contain within them a universe of possibility.”
